Wesley D. Millican, MBA, is the Founder and President of MillicanSolutions, Inc., an
executive search and consulting firm focused on strategic leadership initiatives for children’s
hospitals nationally. He is also Founder and CEO of CareerPhysician Advisors L.P., one of
the nation’s leading providers of comprehensive career and business education resources to
residents, fellows, and training program directors.
Formerly, Millican served as Principal at Ray & Berndtson; Vice President of Physician
Services for Physician Reliance Network, now U.S. Oncology; Director of Physician Recruitment, Retention and
Cultural Development at Baylor Health Care System of Dallas; and Vice President and Marketing Director for the
Horizon Group, a health-care recruitment and consulting firm.

Additionally, he has a proven expertise in developing pediatric subspecialty physician leadership teams for children’s hospitals and other pediatric-care delivery
systems.
Millican holds an MBA degree from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and received
BBA degrees in both marketing and management from Texas A&M University. He is the recipient of the National
Institute for Physician Recruitment’s National Honors for Comprehensive Campaign Plans and Strategies and
ACMS’s Physician Relations Executive of the Year award. Recognized as a recruiting industry expert, Millican has
been published in the Wall Street Journal and is a contributor to Getting Paid What You Are Worth, a book by Pinkley
focusing on compensation and salary negotiations.
Millican serves on the boards of the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship, Texas A&M University;
Y-ME, a national breast cancer awareness organization; and the Institute for Clergy Effectiveness, a subsidiary of the
Texas Methodist Foundation.

Jennifer L. Schaulin serves as Vice President with MillicanSolutions, Inc., an executive
search and consulting firm focused on strategic leadership initiatives for children’s hospitals
nationally. Jennifer is responsible for managing the search execution process. She has spent
over six years in retained executive search and was formerly a Director with A.T. Kearney
Executive Search and a Principal with Ray & Berndtson in the consumer products and services
practices located in Fort Worth, Texas. She has been responsible for executing search assignments for senior level
executives across a broad range of functions in consumer products, medical products and technology companies.
Prior to her executive search experience, Jennifer had an eight year career in medical capital equipment sales in
both the radiology and cardiology market places. She spent three years as an advanced diagnostic sales specialist for
intravascular ultrasound in the West Region for Cordis Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson Company
and five years as an account manager for GE Medical Systems in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to her sales success,

Jennifer served as the sales and service team facilitator and was involved in corporate training, customer training and mentoring of peers.
Jennifer earned a B.S. in general engineering with a secondary field of study in marketing from the University of
Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.

Marti Estrada Quisling serves as Vice President with MillicanSolutions, Inc., an executive
search and consulting firm focused on strategic leadership initiatives for children’s hospitals
nationally. Marti is responsible for search execution and for leading the strategic marketing
initiatives conducted on behalf of our children’s hospital clients. Formerly, Marti served as
Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Cook Children’s Health Care System in Fort
Worth; Vice President of Strategic Planning at Baylor Health Care System at Dallas; Regional
Marketing/Sales Manager at American Medical International in Dallas; National Product
Manager at Republic Health Corporation in Dallas; and Director of Marketing/Public Relations
at HCA Shoal Creek Hospital in Austin.
She brings over 25 years experience in marketing and strategic planning to our team.
Working with some of the largest for-profit and non-profit health care systems in the United
States, her expertise encompasses all disciplines of marketing and strategic planning to include public relations, media
relations, sales management, referral development, community relations, research, telemarketing, and guest relations.

She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognition from national and state professional associations including
the National Health Care Marketing Awards (Gold and Silver in 1999, 2000, and 2001) for “Kids Are Different”
Campaign and Best of Show for the Physicians’ Direct Mail Program; Gold and Silver awards for the “Healing Force-
Nurse Recruitment” Campaign and “55 Plus- Senior Membership Program” from the National Health Care Marketing
Awards, American Society for Health Care Marketing and Public Relations, and American Marketing Association.
Marti is also a recognized speaker and has presented “The Accountable Marketer” and “Establishing A Health Care
Sales Force” at the Child Health Corporation of America national conferences; and “Physician Relationship Marketing
– The Art of Wooing” at the Academy for Health Services Marketing Conference; “Relationship Marketing—A Case
Study,” “Physician Relationship Marketing: A Formula For Success,” and “Developing A Sales Function In Your
Hospital” at national conferences of the Society of Healthcare Planning and Marketing Association.
She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing, American Marketing Association, and
Health Care Advisory Board. She also serves on the boards of Alliance For Children and Children’s Advocacy Centers
of Texas.

Jennifer Weimer serves as Assistant Vice President with MillicanSolutions, Inc., an
executive search and consulting firm focused on strategic leadership initiatives for children’s
hospitals nationally. She is responsible for target identification, market research, database
development, and search execution.
Prior to joining MillicanSolutions in 2004, she was formerly a research analyst for the
healthcare practice at Ray & Berndtson, a retained executive search firm located in Fort Worth, Texas. She was
responsible for target identification, candidate research, and industry knowledge for pharmaceutical, biotech, managed
care and physician industries.
Jennifer received her BBA degree in Human Resource Management from the University of North Texas in Denton,
Texas.
